Speaking Opportunities

Please fill out the "Speaking Opportunities" section of our general contact form, and Maria will get back to you via email about scheduling.

Please try to schedule Maria for speaking opportunities at least 2 weeks out from the date of your event.

If your event is sooner than that, we still encourage you to reach out but please be aware that Maria's availability may be limited.

Maria can be booked for presentation style talks with slide decks, Q&As, fireside chats, speeches, and more. She has been invited to speak at conferences, corporate meetings, special events, elementary through university classrooms, and more. If you are unsure whether your event would qualify, send us a message through our contact form and we will get back to you!

In-person speaking events are generally limited to the Greater Boston area, but Maria can join virtual events and speaking opportunities farther away.

Most speaking opportunities are focused on Uvida Shop, what it means to be a zero waste business, and the impact of opening a zero waste store and refillery in a city like Boston.

Maria is also open to discussing her entrepreneurial journey, the importance of consumer activism in the environmental movement, and ways to be more eco-concious in our day-to-day lives. She can also discuss being a small woman-owned business, a woman of color owned business, and a Latina-owned business.

Pricing is determined by the length of the event and size of the audience. Please include your speaker budget when filling out our contact form.

Maria does some pro bono events for public schools and non-profits, so please reach out even if your organization does not have a speaker budget.
